Terms & Conditions

1. General Information

This website is operated by RONN Design, a design studio and manufacturing workshop based in Germany. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms apply to all products, services, custom commissions, and limited editions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Nature of Our Work

RONN Design specializes in bespoke, made-to-order, and limited-edition design objects, including wall panels, reliefs, mirrors, lighting elements, furniture components, and architectural installations.

Due to the artisanal and material-driven nature of our work:

  • each piece is unique,
  • natural variations in wood grain, color, texture, and surface are inherent and intentional,
  • visualizations, renders, and samples are indicative and not binding representations of the final product.

3. Quotes & Pricing

All prices, proposals, and quotations provided by RONN Design are non-binding estimates unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Quotes may change due to material availability, changes in scope, client-requested modifications, or external cost fluctuations. A binding agreement is formed only after written confirmation and, where applicable, receipt of a deposit.

4. Payments & Deposits

For custom and made-to-order projects:

  • a deposit is required before production begins,
  • the remaining balance is payable prior to delivery, shipment, or installation.

RONN Design reserves the right to suspend or cancel production if payments are not made as agreed.

5. Production & Lead Times

Production timelines are provided as estimates and may vary depending on project complexity, material sourcing, craftsmanship processes, and external factors beyond our control.

6. Delivery, Risk & Shipping

Risk transfers to the client upon handover to a carrier, collection, or delivery to the agreed location.

Any transport damage must be reported immediately upon receipt and documented where possible (photos, packaging condition).

7. Installation & Site Conditions

Unless explicitly included, installation services are not part of the standard scope. Clients are responsible for ensuring that site conditions are suitable, surfaces are structurally adequate, and access is prepared.

8. Custom Orders, Cancellations & Returns

Products made to the client’s specifications or clearly personalized are generally non-returnable. This does not affect statutory rights where applicable.

In case of cancellation, deposits may be retained and incurred material and production costs will be charged.

9. Limited Editions

Limited edition products are produced in defined quantities or timeframes. Once sold out or discontinued, reproduction is excluded unless explicitly announced by RONN Design.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, concepts, drawings, models, and products remain the intellectual property of RONN Design. Clients acquire no rights to reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any design unless expressly agreed in writing.

11. Warranty & Care

Our products are intended for interior use unless stated otherwise. Natural materials require appropriate care and environmental conditions. RONN Design is not responsible for damage resulting from improper use, installation, or maintenance.

12. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
