Materials We Trust

At Studio RONN, every creation begins with material — the element that defines its character and emotion.

We work with three solid hardwoods: oak, ash and walnut. Each is selected for its texture, tone and strength, bringing warmth, individuality and lasting beauty to every piece.

Walnut

Juglans

Walnut has a deep natural tone, expressive grain and a calm, refined character. We preserve its original colour and finish it only with clear oil; coloured finishes are not offered for walnut.

Oak

Quercus

Oak is durable and marked by a clear, architectural grain. It is available in its natural tone or finished with coloured Rubio Monocoat oil, changing the colour while allowing the structure of the wood to remain visible.

Ash

Fraxinus

Ash is strong and visually light, with a lively, open grain. Its pale natural base responds especially well to coloured Rubio Monocoat oil, giving us a broad palette without concealing the wood.
